10.2.3 Dependency Period
The dependency period is the time following the readjustment period when the children are growing in age, and expenses for them typically rise. This period lasts until the youngest child of the family reaches age 18. As you will note when you read page 258 of the Florida study manual, Social Security benefits can help but may not be sufficient during this period.
