Final Examination
The course online final exam consists of 150 multiple choice questions with a 2.75 hour time limit. Make sure you have allowed yourself enough time to complete the final exam in one sitting.
IMPORTANT: For those taking the examination after January 1, 2015, please note the content outline changes. The state examination content outlines can be located at Pearson Vue's website here.
Once you pass the course final exam, you can download your Certificate of Completion. A duplicate will automatically be mailed to you at the address you provided during registration. You can then complete your application to take the state exam at www.PearsonVue.com. We will report electronically to the state that you have passed the course and have met the eligibility requirements to sit for the exam. You will be responsible to supply your state-required fingerprints, pay the state application and examination fees, and schedule your state exam.
DO NOT SEND YOUR CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION TO THE STATE -
THE CERTIFICATE IS FOR YOUR RECORDS ONLY.
You may take the course final examination as many times as necessary to pass. There is no waiting period and no additional charge for retakes. Passing grade is 70% or better.
