4.6.3 Minors
Designating a minor as beneficiary is handled in much the same way as a trust. A guardian who will have the fiduciary responsibility for the funds will be court appointed; the guardian would typically collect limited payments for the benefit of the minor. This is where a trust would be better suited to represent the minor's interests.
