4.6.4 Specific Class Designations
The most common form of naming a group as beneficiary is where the policyowner designates the children; usually stated as "Spouse, if living; otherwise the surviving children born of this marriage." Share and share alike would mean that each would receive an equal share of the proceeds. That is a per capita designation by class. There is no need to change the beneficiary designation as additional children are added to the family.
