19.5.5 Handicapped Children
When a handicapped child has been afforded coverage under a family policy, when the child becomes an adult the coverage is usually terminated. However under Florida law, coverage must continue after the child reaches adulthood as long as the individual continues to be incapable of sustaining employment due to the handicap and remains chiefly dependent upon the policyholder for support and maintenance.
