Applying For New License
Applying for a new license will take approximately 7-14 business days upon receipt of all required information. After passing the state examination you will receive your license at the test site center.
Steps to apply for License:
1. Go to website www.MyFloridaCFO.com/Agents.
2. Click on MyProfile.
3. Log in to MyProfile.
4. Select initial application for licensure.
5. Fill in or answer all demographic, background and license specific questions.
6. Select application type/class and pay appropriate fees. You will pay the license application fee ($50), License ID fee ($5), and exam fee ($56).
7. Fingerprints - You can select electronic fingerprinting on the above website for proper procedures.
The application process is NOT complete until you pay and submit appropriate fees.
(Applicants with fingerprint background deficiencies will experience a processing delay of approximately 2-4 weeks.)
All information must be completed. If you have pled to a felony, call the Department for additional instructions. You may be subject to a 15-year waiting period or your application may be denied.
